Lemon, Lime & mint mocktail

mocktail

I really like today’s photo. It looks fabulous! Ian taught me a new technique using remote flash. I usually point flash toward the roof and let it bounce back to my object, which gives a nice and bright photo. This time, however, my object is a drink. Ian reckons using a remote flash and pointing it towards the camera through a diffuser at the back of the drink will have a better result for a translucent liquid. It is magical! I am really happy!

Ingredients: lime (1), lemon (1), mint (1 sprig), sugar (2 tablespoon), soda water.

What to do:

  1. Cut lemon in half, juice half of it and slice the other half for garnish. Do the same for the lime.
  2. Pour lemon and lime juice in a tall glass, add sugar and give it a good stir until all the sugar is dissolved. (This may take a while)
  3. Crush mint leaves and through them in the glass. Crush again using a small rolling pin.
  4. Add sliced lemon and lime and top up with chilled soda water.
  5. Ready to serve!

I was invited to bring a recent post for a link party Our Growing Edge. What a delightful surprise!  I am also going to bring it to Think Make Thursday, The Weekend Social and Fiesta Friday link parties. Please check them out by clicking the following icons. Link up your post if you like.
